Among other things, we have delivered railings for seven bridges in the new residential area Sundmolen in Nordhavn, Copenhagen. Here we delivered a railing consisting of flat steel with transverse balusters, as the railing had to fit into the surrounding cubist building style. Special to this railing is its mounting. Normally, railings are mounted with individual scepters that are connected to balusters, but here the entire railing was one piece of e.g. 7 meters. The railing was mounted on a flood plate that was continuous throughout the bridge, and thus the length of the railing.
For Gullev near Bjerringbro, we have delivered a special railing with built-in light in the handrail, i.e. the top continuous plate. The bridge was set up to ensure easy crossing for pedestrians and cyclists over a busy road. In this case, the entire bridge was completed in a single night, where large parts of the railing were installed at the factory and the last elements were completed after the installation of the bridge.
