​DAV NORDIC is a distributor of BUDANh500 noise shield cassettes from the manufacturer Bud-Masz. The BUDAN h500 noise barrier is typically set up along heavily trafficked roads, where noise has become a nuisance for the surrounding residents. With a noise barrier along the thoroughfare, the noise is significantly reduced, thereby increasing the quality of life for those who live nearby.

​The noise shield cassettes are made with aluminum surfaces, and a core primarily of insulation. Where the screen is desired to be absorbent, the aluminum surface is perforated so that the sound is absorbed. All visible surfaces are painted in the desired color to fit in with the surrounding area.

​Cassette types

BUDAN h500 is a system of several different cassette types, each with their own characteristics. The cassettes have the same external design and dimensions, and can thus be combined to create exactly the desired screen.

• ​BUDAN h500 standard is the most used cassette. Absorbent on one side and reflective on the opposite side.
• BUDAN h500 PA is double-sided absorbent, and is typically used where there is noise on both sides of the screen.
• BUDAN h500 RO is reflective on both sides, and is thus a completely closed cassette without perforation.
• BUDAN h500 HARD is a reinforced cassette which can handle a slightly higher load from wind, snow, own weight, etc. Can be combined with all of the above cassette types.

​DAV NORDIC is also capable of delivering transparent cassettes, suspension fittings, trellises, etc. which fits the BUDAN h500 system.
