New bridge guard from DAV NORDIC already assembled on a series of bridges in Denmark

In May, DAV NORDIC launched a completely new bridge guard under the name DAV H2/W2. The bridge guard meets the new EU requirements, is crash tested, CE marked and is increasingly occupying the Danish roads and bridges.

Advantages of restoration tasks

The bridge guard replaces the previous, most commonly used, S100 bridge guard. As something unique, the DAV H2/W2 can be used with restoration tasks on bridges, where the S100 bridge guard has previously been used. This is due to construction, that is built with the same post distance and use of the same bolt dimensions. This has an economical advantage and ensures a quick assembly that supports high traffic security.

Optimal working width

The working width is minimised so that the bridge guard can be classified with the working width W2. At the same time, a new deformation bracket ensures that the ASI value can be classified as ASI B without affecting the strength level. The bridge railing ensures a highly controlled process after a potential collision and by that a smaller risk of damage to the driver, passengers and other road users

DAV H2/W2 is among others delivered to:
