Hellerup has been badly affected by floods, even with minor rainfall.
At the same time, the quality of the bathing water is compromised when wastewater, here among the rainwater, is being released into Øresund.
Therefore, it has now been decided, that a rainwater tunnel has to be made. The tunnel ensures that rainwater and wastewater, run through different conduits underground, thus significantly reducing floods.
DAV NORDIC is in charge of traffic safety during the construction, which consists of 7 stages during the period of March 2016 - July 2017. The road lanes will be separated by the Mini-Guard® traffic guard, signs and blockages will be put up and mark-ups will be done.
