Through the past three years, DAV NORDIC has supplied significantly for the new highway between Herning and Holstebro. On May 28th, the first two stages of totally 10 km opened, called “Messemotorvejen” and the Minister of Housing, Ole Birk Olesen, is very happy that the road users can enjoy the first section of the highway.
The National Road Directorate is constructing a 39 km long highway between Herning and Holstebro. The purpose of this is to give the road user a faster and more secure road, and to create better traffic opportunities for the new super hospital in Gødstrup. The relief of heavy traffic on the local roads, has also been a high priority. The first section, with the name Messemotorvejen that stretches from Snejbjerg to Sinding, has just opened.

DAV NORDIC has supplied and assembled approx. 32 km of crash barrier for the two sections, and formerly supplied and assembled guard railings for all the bridges of the contract. The foundation of the highway is harder than usual but due to good preparation and a great deal of experience, no delays in the assembly have occurred for DAV NORDIC.
