A flexible and adaptable railing

DAV NORDIC, as a subcontractor for MT Højgaard, has delivered 142 meters of pedestrian railing—71 meters on each side of the bridge. The railing, CE-certified in accordance with EN 1090, features mahogany handrails and meets the requirement of a height of 1200 mm from the base to the handrail, ensuring optimal safety for bridge users.

One of the significant advantages of this railing is its versatility. The solution can be adapted to a wide range of projects, whether for stair railings, pathway bridges, or other applications. The railing can be delivered with or without handrails and adjusted in height as needed, making it a popular choice among several municipalities, including Silkeborg, Grinsted, and Favrskov.

Part of a larger contract

The pedestrian bridge near Aarhus North is just one of four bridges included in this contract. The project serves as yet another example of how DAV NORDIC’s solutions create value for both clients and end-users. Our focus remains on safety, customized solutions, and durability.
