In 2023, DAV NORDIC secured its first major framework agreement with Banedanmark. During 2023 and 2024, 250 platform poles with built-in speakers will be supplied to four stations.

The pole, named Platform pole, is used for announcing outgoing and incoming trains as well as for platform name signage. It is a cylindrical steel pole standing 3.7 meters tall, with a built-in speaker. The speaker unit is installed inside the pole by us, and perforations are made for sound. Banedanmark will handle the installation of the poles, which will be used at Middelfart, Nr. Aaby, Frederikshavn, and Vejle stations.
Previously, we have supplied a range of traffic solutions to Banedanmark, including guardrails, noise barriers, and poles for various purposes.
However, in 2023, this is the first time we are delivering such a large order. The order will be fulfilled throughout 2024.
