March 2026, Silkeborg, Denmark – DAV NORDIC, known for guardrail solutions, has delivered a record result of DKK 51 million in its 2025 financial statements. The bottom line has grown from DKK 41 million the year before, and employees will each receive DKK 50,000.
The Silkeborg-based company DAV NORDIC, which among other things delivers solutions to support road safety on Danish roads, has been busy in 2025. As a result, the nearly 100-year-old company continues the significant growth it has experienced over the past few years.
Net profit increased from approximately DKK 41 million in 2024 to DKK 51 million in the newly published 2025 accounts.
“We are very satisfied with the result for 2025. The growth has been broad-based, so it is not individual products or customers driving the progress. This means we stand on a strong and solid foundation. Even though we are an older and larger company, in 2025 we managed to qualify for a Gazelle award from Børsen. This underlines that we have performed well over a number of years,” says Ulrik Toft Marcussen, CEO of DAV NORDIC.
Without our dedicated employees, we would not have achieved such an impressive 2025 result, and therefore it is only natural for us once again to share a good portion of the year’s profit with our employees in the form of an extraordinary bonus. Each full-time employee can expect to receive approximately DKK 50,000 in bonus. Ulrik Toft Marcussen, CEO of DAV NORDIC

Among the largest individual projects, the CEO highlights an eight-kilometre noise barrier project in Aalborg completed in 2025, four noise barriers along the E45, and two kilometres of noise barriers along the M3 in Rødovre, as well as 100 kilometres of guardrails related to the major expansion of the East Jutland motorway north of Vejle.
According to Ulrik Toft Marcussen, noise protection has become a significant contributor to the business in recent years, and the CEO expects DAV NORDIC to maintain its market share due to strong expertise and experience in handling sometimes complex projects.
DAV NORDIC is known, among other things, for having invented the guardrail, which has evolved into what we see today on highways and roads. However, over the nearly 100 years the company has existed, several additional business areas have been added.
For example, companies were acquired years ago to expand the pole business. Since then, the product range has been extended to include aluminium poles as a more sustainable alternative to traditional steel poles, which are used for road lighting or signage.
“We have managed to broaden our business so we can deliver more solutions within infrastructure projects. This gives us a competitive advantage and also reduces fluctuations across business areas,” says Ulrik Toft Marcussen.
Another relatively new business area is coverings for, for example, the many charging stations that continue to be rapidly installed along motorways and in major cities.
“Society is becoming increasingly electrified, which naturally increases the need for public charging stations that require covering. As an added benefit of our covering solutions, solar panels can be installed on the roof, allowing us to utilize sunlight without compromising on architecture,” the CEO explains.
Following a strong 2025, Ulrik Toft Marcussen expects 2026 to be a more stable year focused on consolidation.
“We have a solid order backlog for 2026, but it is not as full as in 2025 and 2024. However, there are still many tenders where we can secure additional revenue during the year. That said, we do expect to see a decline in 2026,” the CEO notes.
DAV NORDIC employs approximately 90 permanent staff, but during busy periods in 2025, the workforce reached as many as 150 employees.
