Jægersborg Football Club has finally received their new artificial turf pitch, and along with it, they have received floodlight masts from DAV NORDIC, which focus on both functionality and aesthetics.

Jægersborg Football Club had long wished for their own artificial turf pitch. After a long process, it is now finally complete and was officially opened in November 2024. The new pitch allows the club’s members to train year-round – even on dark autumn and winter days. Therefore, proper lighting was essential, requiring the right masts to ensure that the floodlights could illuminate the pitch optimally.
Dansk Sportsbelysning was responsible for the lighting, ensuring that the players get the best possible illumination on the pitch while meeting current requirements and standards. In this process, Dansk Sportsbelysning chose DAV NORDIC as the supplier of the floodlight masts. As a result, DAV NORDIC delivered six masts, each measuring 18 meters in height.
The floodlight masts had to meet several essential requirements for the overall project. In addition to functional demands, aesthetics played a significant role. In Gentofte Municipality, a decision has been made that all outdoor lighting masts must be black to create visual cohesion in the urban landscape. This requirement also applied to the new artificial turf pitch in Jægersborg. Therefore, DAV NORDIC supplied black-painted masts, giving them a sleek appearance and finish while also making them more resistant to Denmark’s changing weather conditions, thereby extending their lifespan.
The choice of DAV NORDIC as the supplier of the floodlight masts was no coincidence. Dansk Sportsbelysning has collaborated with DAV on several previous projects, fostering shared experience and an already strong and stable working relationship.
We have always had a very positive collaboration with DAV NORDIC, so choosing them as the supplier for Jægersborg was a natural decision. DAV NORDIC is great at taking on the task and solving it together with the mast manufacturer. Martin Frimann, Dansk Sportsbelysning

For Dansk Sportsbelysning, it was also crucial to secure the right masts for the football facility—masts that could be tailored to specific aesthetic and functional requirements, including high quality and durability.
Additionally, the price of the masts was an important factor, but without compromising on quality. DAV NORDIC was able to deliver precisely the masts that met the requirements—at the right price.
