DAV NORDIC maintains 80% of Denmark’s national roads with guardrails and has been responsible for this task for many years. To improve the working environment, ergonomics, and safety for the technicians who carry out this work, DAV NORDIC has now invested in two state-of-the-art Euro6 Scania trucks. These trucks meet all modern standards and are prepared to run on biofuel.
Reduced wear and tear on employees It is important to us that our employees are not unnecessarily worn down and that safety is 100% ensured. With the new trucks, we achieve both goals, as the cab is much lower, making it less strenuous to get in and out of than standard trucks. Additionally, the technicians can exit on both sides of the cab. Our technicians repair guardrails both on the roadside and in the median, and when working on the roadside, they can now exit on the opposite side, avoiding the need to open the door towards the road. The door on the passenger side is also a sliding door, which requires less space and allows the truck to park closer to the guardrail than before.
