Bridge guard
DAVH2 / W2
The bridge guard is based on the principles of the well-known S100 bridge guard. DAV H2/W2 is crash tested to European standards and meets the requirements of EN 1317-2 and EN 1317-5. With a sceptre distance of 3.0 meters, the bridge guard can be mounted on bolt groups established for the formerly widely used S100 bridge guard.
The bridge guard can be fitted with or without B-profiles as per the customer's wishes, and with or without fill bars. All reject-beams are horizontal and with built-in deformation brackets, which ensures an ASI value B. A newly developed "A-bracket" ensures good power transmission and helps ensure a fantastic course on collision where the risk of injury to other road users is minimised. All bolt assemblies are placed in vertical surfaces, just as horizontal "closed" surfaces do not exist so that the risk of "water pockets" is minimised to ensure a longer life span.
Bolts are supplied with rounded heads to avoid protruding edges.
DAV H2/W2 is used on bridge structures where normal requirements are set for a CE marked bridge guard.
