DAV NORDIC hires department chief in Zealand

On November 1st, 2015, Michael Larsen took over as Head of Department for DAV NORDIC's department in Bjæverskov, Zealand. Michael Larsen comes from a position as Head of Department at Petri & Haugsted A/S, where he has been for 11½ years and worked with management in the construction industry. Michael Larsen has the right experience and the right personal skills to lead and develop the department in Zealand.

Great bustle

DAV NORDIC has chosen to expand the organisation due to a great deal of busyness and pressure on the employees over a longer period of time. “It is very gratifying that we are busy, and there is so much demand for our solutions and expertise that we are now expanding with a department head in our Zealand office. I see this as a positive development for DAV NORDIC”, says Admin. Director/CEO Ulrik Toft Marcussen. Ulrik Toft Marcussen continues: "We both want to maintain and expand the market position in Zealand, and I am sure that in Michael Larsen we have found the right profile to do the job."

Development of employees and processes

Michael Larsen must deal with employee development and process optimisation such as project management, tendering, quality assurance, etc. and says, "I want to build a culture, where we help each other and work as a team. Procedures and business ways must be further developed and the work with customers is a high priority. I am very much looking forward to working with my new colleagues and to get the job done".

Michael Larsen - the right profile

Michael Larsen has a degree in engineering from Odense Teknikum and has worked on the construction of steel bridges throughout Europe from 1990-2000. Since then, he has worked with supply lines, first in Skanska for 4 years and then for 11½ years at Petri & Haugsted A/S.
