DAV NORDIC delivers light poles for Hovedstadens Letbane railway-project

Hovedstadens Letbane has earnestly begun to construct the upcoming light railway. The light railway will be running between Lyngby and Ishøj and connecting further six S-train lines across the capital. DAV NORDIC A/S has delivered the first MILEWIDE lighting- and signal poles for Ørsted.

Hovedstadens Letbane

Hovedstadens Letbane is a collaboration between the Capital Region and 11 municipalities - Ishøj, Vallensbæk, Hvidovre, Albertslund, Brøndby, Rødovre, Høje Taastrup, Herlev, Gladsaxe, Glostrup and Lyngby Taarbæk. The light railway is the first of its kind on Zealand and it is intended to give the public transportation across the Capital Region a lift.

DAV NORDIC A/S - new poles department

On May 1st, 2019 the company acquired the light poles division of Priess A/S and merged with its sister company MILEWIDE A/S. This has brought DAV NORDIC a large new light poles division and an even larger palette of products.

DAV NORDIC now operates within four business areas - road safety, noise reduction solutions, steel for construction and light poles. Besides that, the company possess a large assembly and installation division which holds the responsibility for 80% of the maintenance of Danish roads.
