DAV NORDIC delivers resilient poles to Crown Princess Mary's Bridge

In collaboration with Bravida Ltd, DAV NORDIC Ltd has delivered 189 Protec Pole's flexible galvanised steel lighting poles to Crown Princess Mary's Bridge.

Crown Princess Mary's Bridge is a 1.4 km long high-level bridge over Roskilde Fjord south of Frederikssund. The bridge is part of the 9.5 km long four-lane highway, which was built as part of the "New inlet connection at Frederikssund."

Flexible poles increase safety

Flexible poles increase the safety of road users in the event of collisions, which has been significant in this delivery. The poles are round conical and therefore fall naturally into the landscape with the traditional conical poles. The compliant poles are classified in the highest safety class 100/HE/3, and DAV NORDIC are the only ones that can supply this type of pole. The poles are delivered to all exits and are mounted on a concrete foundation.

Name change and merger

DAV NORDIC Ltd was previously called Dansk Autoværn but changed its name on the 1st of April 2019. On the 1st of May 2019, DAV NORDIC acquired the pole department from Priess Ltd and merged with the sister company MILEWIDE Ltd. DAV NORDIC added a large pole department and an even larger palette of products, which now comprise four business areas - traffic safety, noise reduction, light poles and steel structures.
